Carolina Decks is a locally owned and operated business that specializes in designing and constructing custom decks for home and business owners across the greater Charlotte area. The owner, Luke Chapman, started the company in 2013 with a vision of delivering a quality product alongside superior customer service throughout the build process. Attention to detail and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.

We do this by staying current with manufactures recommendations, taking continued education in building science and contributing to NADRA and other local building organizations. Meet The Owner
Luke Chapman started Carolina Decks in 2013 with the vision of building beautiful decks for Charlotte area clients while offering a personalized level of customer service throughout the design-build process. Living through multiple home renovations gave Luke a unique perspective on the value that a good client-contractor relationship brings to any construction project. Blending his past career experience in both construction and sales, Luke strives to relate to each of his clients in a personal level in order to deliver a product that best suits their needs.
Although Carolina Decks works with all decking materials, Luke has taken a particular interest in the newest materials and trends available in composite decking and is inspired daily by the variety of different design options available. Luke has direct contacts with composite decking manufacturers and brings the expertise needed to help clients select a product that will best fit their needs.
Luke graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management. He is married to his best friend, is a dad to two toddlers, and lives in the South Charlotte area.

We have experience working with a variety of available materials available on the market today, from PVC decking to composite materials and everything in between.
