  Trex Winchester grey composite decking was installed on the outdoor grilling deck to ensure maintenance free living for many years to come.  Bare feet coming up from the lake won’t have to worry about splinters or nail pops on this beautiful, comfortable and safe deck.

  The outdoor gas fireplace was installed to provide a warm retreat on a cold fall or winters day.    With the windows closed and the fireplace on it’s a great place to gather with friends while still be outdoors.

  Timbertech Mahogany decking/ Rustic Cedar Pergola/Fortress steel framing

   

  This beautiful porch in the Piper Glen neighborhood is a bit of an engineering marvel.  In order the make this work we installed steel I beams to create the illusion that the porch was floating in the air.  The porch and deck were both framed using Fortress steel framing to allow for much longer and stronger joist spans than using pressure treated lumber.

   

  Timbertechs mahogany decking was used on the deck and in the porch to create a comfortable place to walk out barefoot and enjoy the view.

   

  Ezebreeze windows were installed to allow the porch to get air on a nice day.  The windows can be closed up during pollen season or when a storm blows through.

  When we met with the homeowner on this project, they said they wanted something different than what they had seen from others. (We always love this!).  They described wanting something that was modern but also with some rustic elements.  Something like you would see out in Colorado on a fancy hotel.  The result from lots of planning, designing and hard work resulted in this beautiful porch.  It’s truly one of a kind!

  This beautiful porch on Lake Norman has classic lines and beauty.  Our client wanted a space to entertain while taking in the views of the lake.  We think this porch does all that and more!

   

  Timbertech’s coastline decking was used on the upstairs to create a comfortable place to walk out barefoot and enjoy the lake views.  Since it doesn’t get as hot when you’re running to and from the lake you don’t have to worry about putting on sandals every time you walk across it.

   

  We screened in the upper porch using Screeneze to keep the unwanted pests out and to create a comfortable place to share a meal outdoors.

   

  Cable railing was installed along the stone wall and on the upper deck to tie the two area together and create a safe place for everyone to gather.

  We couldn’t be happier with how this outdoor living space turned out! There is just so much space to enjoy. This projects backyard faced the cul-de-sac. Our customer wanted to way to keep an open-air feel but also have a way to close it up. We used the Mirage retractable screens to accomplish this. This porch also featured composite flooring, black aluminum handrail, a built-in cocktail bar, and Infratech heaters.

  Our Tailwood project has to be one of our favorites to date.  When we first met with the homeowners they wanted something that reminded them of the beach.  We used Ezebreeze windows to close in the porch and allow for multi season use.  We added heaters to keep it warm in the winter.  Sconce lights were added to give it character and provide soft lighting.  Cool grey composite decking was used for the flooring.  French doors install off the back allow the homeowners to open up the porch on a nice day.  At the end of the project, we delivered a beautiful, functional beach vibe porch.  Cheers!
